The first tirechange went as expected for noobs.
The old tire was a street tire from week 49 in 2012, so very stiff and very hard to get off. We almost got into a fight on how to get it off as nothing we did seemed to work but we got it off.
The new was a Mitas 20/80 and very easy to put on and work with.

The trouble was the last part of the fronttire... the tube ruptured... most likely because it was as old or older than the tire. So new tubes ordered and then we finished the fronttire inside.
The main trouble with the fronttire, our first tire, was gettng it of the rim. When we started the process we thought soapy water would be enough, but for two noobs it was not so along with the new tires we bought some proper tire changing greese and more talcum for the tube and innertire + a beedbreaking machine and balancing stand.

In total we used 2 afternoons (after work) on the frontire as we didn't know what we were doing but with the rear tire it took ~2 hours of work including taking the wheel off the bike, getting the old tire off, new tire on and balanced.
Lube makes a big change - can recommend !!!
